My Goddaughter's birthday was April 7. I was ready for it March 7. But I was still late to the post office. Regardless, I was charmed with myself when I decided how to mail the pillowcase I sewed. It's super-girly--all pinks and swirls. I hope she loved it.
I didn't have any mailing envelopes around the house. And I considered mailing it in a cereal box until I spotted my Sharpies. And thought. Just mail it wrapped and decorated. And it was that simple. I wrapped it twice with a paper grocery bag--left over from December shopping. Then I went to town with my Sharpies. Very Charmed Earth.
